Butyrophilin subfamily 3 member A1, also known as BTN3A1, CD277 and BTF5, is a Single-pass type I membrane protein which belongs to the BTN/MOG family of immunoglobulin superfamily. BTN3A1 is highly expressed in heart, pancreas and lung, moderately expressed in placenta, liver and muscle. The butyrophilin (BTN) genes are a group of major histocompatibility complex (MHC)-associated genes. Three subfamilies of human BTN genes are located in the MHC class I region: the single-copy BTN1A1 gene have undergone tandem duplication, resulting in 3 copies of each.


·Description
Novoprotein Recombinant Human BTN3A1 produced by mammalian cells expression system.Target protein is expressed with sequence (Gln30-Gly254) of Human btn3a1 (Uniprot #O00481) fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.


·Quality Control

Purity: Greater than 90.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
 

Endotoxin:Less than 0.1ng/μg (1EU/μg) of BTN3A1 (Human)

 

·Formulation
Novoprotein Recombinant Human BTN3A1 was lyophilized at 1mg/ml in 20mM PBS.

·Reconstitution
We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution of Novoprotein Recombinant Human BTN3A1 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to working solutions.

·Storage
Lyophilized Recombinant Human BTN3A1 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant Human BTN3A1 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable up to 3 months below -18°C for future use.
